ERRETH-AKBE

High-fi fantasy synth/dungeon synth dedicated to the world of Earthsea,

and the writing of Ursula K. Le Guin. I use a lot of orchestral sounds, subtractive synth sounds, and field recordings for this project, and I try to let the compositions wander, which often leads to asymmetrical song structures.

SIGILBURNER

Eclectic, dark synthwave, telling the stories of desperate demon hunters.

Really more of a slurry of dance music genres with synthwave as a foundation.

This music represents my earliest experiments with production, but I have a brand new album coming out very soon.

THAT DEMON THE SUN

Grimy vampiric dungeon synth, recorded straight from a modular synth onto a sun-damaged cassette tape. This project came from a desire to push myself to make music without the use of a computer. it ended up being my most personal project, and my favorite of my own work. The third album adds bedroom pop vocals, another attempt to push my creative boundaries.

YLFIG

Worn neoclassical compositions exploring faeries and madness.

Each track was made with four unaltered mellotron vst presets, with the intention that the music could theoretically be played on a quartet of real mellotrons.

SAILOR OF THE ASTRAL SEA

Flowing, kosmische musik inspired ambient exploring the world of my dreams.

I made this album by layering unquantized midi keyboard improvisations using

mostly pads. This is exactly what my dreams sound like.

PERFECT MACHINES

Glitchy dance music themed loosely around the film "The Creation of the Humanoids."

This music is made entirely on a modular rack, without the use of a computer.

Most of these tracks are heavily self-generating, so hundreds of alternate takes exist.
